My name is Rylan.
Rylan Benét comes from the hot, chaotic, and culture-soaked city of Atlanta, GA.
A content creator, visual artist, and digital marketing expert, she's been building her own world at the intersection of internet nostalgia, pop culture commentary, and creative storytelling.
Her YouTube channel is a love letter to the chronically online—unpacking niche internet history, retail lore, and anime fandoms—while also flashing subliminal pink aliens and asking viewers to decode their own obsession with the absurd.
Her background in fashion, design, art, and eCommerce shows up in everything she does from the bold edits in her video essays to the way she approaches marketing with both data and delusion.
Rylan graduated from Westlake High School in 2011 and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Retail & Management from the Art Institute of Atlanta-Decatur. She's interned at Creative Loafing and the People Store talent agency, and briefly clocked in at Ragorama in L5P like every Atlanta creative does at some point.
After a spontaneous flight to NYC, she worked as a Model Agent Assistant at One Management, handling bookings with clients like Nike and Bloomingdale’s. Following her mother’s passing, Rylan moved back to Atlanta, then returned to New York where she landed roles as an eCommerce Assistant at Yosi Samra and Associate Art Director at IDEAL GLASS—until both companies folded due to financial hardship.
Back in Atlanta again, she took on digital roles at Shopify partner eCart Atlanta and eventually Springbot, where she specialized in campaign strategy, paid social, email marketing, and branding.
