No One Cares About
Your Day, Here’s Why...
If you're just starting out in content creation and you're thinking of launching with a “day in my life” vlog, let’s hit pause real quick. It’s a common first step and a common mistake.
Here’s the truth: unless you’re already internet-famous, people aren’t invested in you yet.
They don’t care how you make your coffee or what playlist you listen to while walking your dog. That kind of content works for people like iShowSpeed and Trisha Paytas because they’ve already built a relationship with their audience. People are curious about them.
But if you’re starting from scratch? You need to build your value first, not your personality brand.
Start Here Instead:
Make a list of your actual interests. Not the ones you wish you had, but the ones you already commit time to. Anime, fashion, horror stories, gaming, cooking, whatever.
Think about what you do anyway. What could you film without changing your routine too much? You’ll burn out fast if every video feels like a performance.
Create content with your life, not about your life. If you’re already going to the thrift store, film it. If you love skincare, talk about your current faves. Make content through your passions, not about your day.
